Jouissance Club: a cartography of pleasure is the book by the (now famous), Jüne Pla, a very popular sex influencer.
I have to say, basically, me and the influence, that's 10. I always look doubtfully at these influence accounts in which you can find both food and drink. I struggle with Insta's clear egocentrism, and also a bit with the time lost scrolling its screen endlessly. So I started with a negative preconception about Jüne's book..
And, for you to understand my point, you will need one or two short reminders.
What is Jouissance Club?
Basic Simple. JouISSANCE CLUB, it's simply THE biggest Instagram account that talks about sexuality in France. With nearly 1M followers, the account was even adapted to the English-speaking community under the pretty name of @bliss .club.
What is it that makes this account so popular? It is obviously its creator Jüne, known for her outspokenness and creativity. The popularity of Jouissance Club is also due to its uniqueness: 90% of publications are sex illustrations In between being liked. It's just as evocative as it is soft, creative, as it is daring and that's why it works.
Who is Jüne Plà?
I learn in her book that Jüne is from Marseille and that she works in video games. By drawing vulvas and penises to explore her own sexuality, she created the Instagram account Jouissance Club. and that it immediately made a big hit. Luckily, she is publishing in November 2021, “Jouissance Club: a map of pleasure” and therefore allows everyone to discover his work from a different angle.

Without any tricks, Jüne's book addresses several aspects of sexuality in a fair, inclusive (without overdoing it) and funny way. In this book, you will be happy to discover ways to enjoy yourself, and to learn:
- A clear and well-written introduction: “Welcome to the club”
- Of nice illustrations of female and male anatomies, commented and explained, in detail and with lightness: a rare find.
- Important reminders about the approach to sexuality and the fact that we are all different : I love it because there is just enough to make it good.
- Crucial definitions, explained seriously,: it really helps to better understand the context because you “think you know” a lot of things, not always accurate.
- A lot of illustrations of vulvas and penises being pamperedA: I am not telling you how many things you will have to test after reading the book.

The book's introduction is really perfect. Love all the reminders that Jüne gives: We understand who she is and why she wrote this book.. The most fun thing in my opinion is to set the right tone and give the essential reminders of open-mindedness and differences in the broad sense. I immediately joined him on The concept of creativity in sex : it is a central point of the subject. Creativity speaks for those who are used to practicing it (artist, entrepreneurs...). But for the rest... It can be argued that creativity is not the most recognized quality in our world...
Finally, hats off for this little name story given to the partners: It's just genius. I would be very curious to know where this idea came from and if it can be reused (Jüne if you are reading me;)).
One thing is certain: while reading Jouissance Club, a cartography of pleasure, you meet Machin-Chose, Bidule, Truc and other identified people;).

Key reminders and definitions
I learned a lot of things reading the JouISSANCE CLUB book. The aim here is obviously not to reveal all the little secrets of this book to you (just to leave you a bit of a surprise). However, I wanted to note two or three little things that made me fall out of my chair:
- 1.6% of the population would be intersex ! It's MADNESS, I was absolutely not aware of it (and probably neither are you). The government site itself gives this definition : “Intersex people are born with variations in their sexual characteristics”. Basically Les Loulous means that These people physically do not have a defined basic gender. As I understand it, these are for example sexual organs that are different from an anatomical point of view, or that are completely present in duplicate. It was worth learning.
- Do you know nymphomaniacs? Well (definitely!) , There is a similar word for men: it's satyriasis. Of course we've never called men that since it's “normal” to “fuck anything that moves” when you're a man isn't it?
- Other than that, It seems that the top of the cat is called the “Mont Vénus”. Now that I know that, I'm never going to call it anything else again. We're going to hear about Mount Venus. To find out more, See page 33 of the book ;).

Les illus is the heart of the book and the popularity of Jouissance Club. They are everywhere simple and direct as we know Jüne's pen. Again, I can't say all the ones I loved. Otherwise, here is the one that gave me a good laugh bar.
